TECHNOLOGY CAMP

It was a busy week of sequencing, algorithms, conditionals, problem solving and fun in Ms. Sylvia Aslanian’s Technology Camp for rising 3rd through 8th graders! They created animations in Scratch, Mindcraft Skins in Tynker, a 3-D Snowman in Google Blockly, coded an LED to light up and blink with Arduino software, and breadboard and UNO R3 Board ATmega328P ATMEGA16U2 with USB cable. Thank you to Lucas Walters for assisting the young coders in these two endeavors! Unplugged activities included a Crack the Binary Code contest, Hop Scotch Coding, Code Monkey Island and creating a codable maze from Legos. On Friday, Ms. Susan Hansen’s Brain Games campers attended a showcase and engaged in the various projects created by the Technology Camp coders. #STEM #summercamp #montessori
