As part of her "Kids Sewing for Kids" campaign, Ms. Susie Long and her sewing students have been busy creating 50 cuddle drop puppy pillows for UF Health Shands Children's Hospital and 30 pillows for Parternship for Strong Families. The campaign is part of Handcrafted Hugs - a group of women who gather weekly to donate their time and talents sewing, knitting, and crocheting, to make handmade items for those in need. They received a grant for the pillow materials from Fairfield (www.FairfieldWorld.com).
